Hi there, you have to be realistic about weight loss goals. I was in your shoes about three years ago for my prom, i wanted a whole new look and the possiblitiy of wearing a 'nicer/sexier' gown. I had to really cut back on snacks and control my eating habits but even that wasn't enough. It took for me to really get active walking about 6 miles a week, getting in enough water and watching portions. I've lost 53 pounds all together, but still struggle to keep it off during the winter months due to a lack of excersise. To lose weight you have to put out more that you take in, so have fun and enjoy your youth but if your serious about weight loss you gotta break a sweat here or there.

i hope you accomplish your goals, :) come back and let us know how your doing.

How long did it take you to lose the 53 pounds?
