View Full Version : Lost 3 lbs this week!! Yeah!!

Just wanted to tell someone!!!

How did I do it?

Workout: 5 times a week with LOTS of effort and lots of sweat and panting!!! (and aches the next day!!)

Diet: Ate abundantly but only veggies, cottage cheese, eggs, oatmeal, beans, tofu, fruit, nuts and a little brown bread and a little quinoa. Stopped eating after 6pm.

Had dessert EVERY DAY!! Some days had carrot cake with an orange flavored 'icing' and other days had a brownie. However, they were homemade and conformed to the RAW preperation method (ie brownies made out of dates, carob powder, ground flax seed, ground walnuts and cashews) No sugar, no preservatives and no cooking. Just raw, natural, nutritious and absolutely delicious dessert.

Yay!! Congrats!! I bet your extremely excited about losing 3lbs this week! Sometimes when I get really excited and tell someone that I lost 3lbs in a week, they just look at me and are like "wow three pounds, thats it??" Sounds like you are doing it the healthy way! I am really excited to hear that you lost that! Congrats and keep up the GREAT work hun!

Lost 5 lb since Christmas with NO exercise of any kind. How? While DH has his big dinners with garlic bread I eat a salad. While DH eats pancakes and hot chocolate for breakfast I eat oatmeal and an orange. But if we go Out to eat I eat anything I want. For lunch I have Snak Ramen, chicken teriyaki flavor.
I love to mix cabbage and mushrooms in it. And extra teriyaki sauce. DH is often not home at lunchtime :)
Imagine how I'd lose if I exercised! :jester: I also take one Super Green Tea Diet capsule each day. I'd take 2 but I'm very prone to insomnia :yawn:

:cool: You know I slip on my veggie diet but I started again january,cutting all meats out except veggie meats. no fish very little dairy, yogurt, maybe protein ready mix shakes. This is it this time , I am on a mission, keep in touch , need some buddies :wave:

i'm trying to "lean up" veggie style, too. i'm doing lots of salads, fresh fruit, baked potatoes with low fat gravy, and soups (in the fridge right now, i have a no-chicken noodle, a curried butternut squash and apple, and black bean chili) with some tofu and rice, and some oatmeal/cold cereal and soy milk thrown in.

Isnt that always the most lovely feeling?! Nothing feels as good as losing weight, thats for sure!

Ive lost 12 lbs. so far this past week.....yippee...lol
