Has anyone ever signed up for ediets? I just wanted to know if it's any good to try, because I've read that it's a waste of money. I need something that's convenient.

I've been a member of eDiets since May and I love it. I've lost 25 lbs. so far and am in MUCH better shape. Of course you can do all of this stuff on your own...but you don't have to! What makes eDiets so useful is all of the different support groups, challenges, online meetings, the meals planned out for you with a shopping list...and if you get the fitness option, they will plan a workout for you for each week based on what you like and your fitness level. There are a LOT of high energy, motivated members who ROCK and inspire lots of others. The staff is really really caring.
You get access to all kinds of professionals...there is a board where you can ask their personal trainer (who is a competitive body builder) any and all kinds of questions and he takes a LOT of time and effort work with everyone and answer their questions. He helped me get my HIIT ramped up recently and gave me LOTS of details tailored specifically for me. They have spiritual advisers, psychologists, stuff like that. And a nutrition support that you can call toll-free if you have any questions or are just stuck.
It's really NOT that expensive...I'm paying 19.95 every THREE months, and that includes the meal plans, access to all of the support groups, and the personal workout planner. They changed their pricing structure so the prices look like they have gone down quite a bit. If I remember correctly, you get two weeks free at the beginning, and you MUST CALL them to cancel if you want to discontinue the membership, otherwise you WILL get billed and don't get a refund...but they don't hide that in fine print, you learn up front when signing up or they tell you if you call them to sign up.
It's also just like any other program....if you don't DO it, then it's a waste of money. You can buy that FIRM DVD, but if it sits in the box and you never do it, then you've wasted your money.
hugs,
