Has anyone tried these workout DVD's by The Firm?
I just purchased 2 videos today, 1 is called Complete Aerobics & Weight Training, and the other is called AB Sculpt...
The packages say Guaranteed visible results in 10 workouts...has anyone tried these videos? What kind of success, or non-successes have you had with them?

Hi,
I highly recommend the Firm because they target every muscle group with resistance training(fanny lifter etc) and weights and in additon, you are getting a good cardio workout. They recommend doing it like 3x a week, and I usually do cardio only in between days(most days). I also have Complete Aerobics and Weight Training, did you get the Body Sculpting System 2 (BSS2)? It's tough but if your just starting out, light weights will work fine, they tell you that.

I got the System 2, yeah. Unfortunately, I can't start them yet :( because when I bought the DVD's I never thought to read the back of the package (didn't know it required equipment). I already have dumbbells, I didn't know I needed the fanny lifter or the sculpting stick...so I'm kinda bummed I can't start the program till next week because all that stuff is soooo expensive. I'm thinking of returning the videos & getting something that only requires the equiptment I already have.

At Target or Dicks, they sell ALL the dvd's and the fanny lifter for $60 dollars but that's the BSS1, cause BSS2 just comes with the stick and it's also 60 dollars. I would go with BSS1 first so you get the fanny lifter, i'm assuming you don't have the fanny lifter right? I would take them back and check those stores. Do you have a Target or Dicks where you live(you may not live in the U.S.)? I'm not sure if they are still selling BSS1 but look around, I'd go with that first! Let me know! :)

I have the Firm tapes, which I love.
I bought a "Fanny Lifter" buy going to Walmart and buying a 14 inch step for $7. No way was I spending $50 on a stool, when I got the tapes at Half Price books for $1.50 each.
