Also, they are transparent, so hanging washing/bedding etc. out in bright sunlight kills them too (although a little difficult here in the UK at the moment though... it's gales and rain). brgds Bob Allegory 01-11-2005, 05:06 PM And Im Allegory! What I do is add about 5ml - 10ml Eucalyptus oil to a very hot wash and when it is mid wash you turn off the machine and let it sit for half an hour to an hour. Then continue the cycle and hang out the bedding in full sunlight. No dustmite should be able to live through that! I have also used a good dustmite spray for cushions, curtains and carpet and added eucalyptus oil to the carpet wash as well. You can just use hot water and it works quite well, but I like to really kill the blighters! |
