Can anyone give me the symptoms of cancer of the tongue??
I have a very sore tongue for the past 3 months my family dr said I should go back to the guy who treated me for nasal cancer I think he was afraid to pass any comment due to my history. Any one with any info for me??

Unfortunately I don't have any info re tongue cancer, but I think your doctor's advice was right on the spot...go back to your oncologist! Once you've had cancer, if you get any symptoms that seem strange, you should definitely get them checked out. Even reoccurrences are more easily treated if caught quickly. So, call your oncologist, just to be on the safe side.

Jerri -

Agree with Ruth - call your ONC right away.

Since you've had nasal cancer, statistically, this recent occurrence - if it is a cancer - is likelier to be a relapse or a metastized form of your old nasal cancer than a new "tongue cancer".

Good luck,
Jay
