My 7 y/o daughter CONSTANTLY gets sick with BAD colds. Severe gagging, to where you think she is going to cough up a lung. I take her to the doctor and there isn't anything wrong other than the common cold. She had her adenoids and tonsils out when she was 5, she has no allergies. Is anyone familiar with testing for immune deficiency?
Any suggetions/replies would be GREAT!!!

Hi
Maybe her colds are especially irritated by forced air. You know your house heating system. Do you have forced air or hot water heat? I know it sounds wierd but I grew up in a hot water heated house and when I moved out into a home with forced air I got very sick from the forced air/dirty filters & ductwork. As I see you are a packer fan ( :D me too, GB raised I was) I assume you are possibly in WI....so I am sure the heat is on a lot!

Hello Sarah! Yep--I am in WI, and even though the Pack lost to the Vikes; I will ALWAYS BE A PACKER FAN!
We do have a newer "air" furnace. Wouldn't the the problems from the air furnace cause allergies? That was something she was tested for, and she had NONE. We change our filters more often than most, and this is a brand new home. I would hate to have to spend money on a new heater when it could be something else....
I will have to check into the heater issues. Thanks for your posting!!!
