Hi,

I started having pain in the joints in my hands and feet, after about 2 months I finally went to the MD, had blood work done, th RA factor came back negative, but my lyme screen came back positive. So he started treating me for Lyme. I took a 30 day course of antibiotic with absolutely no relief.

I went back today and he tells me I must not have Lyme( I dont get that because if the test was positive, why would I not have it) I have read and posted on the Lyme board and they have been very helpful, telling me that I was under-dosed.

Now the MD wants to send me to a Rhuemotologist.

My question about arthritis is, does it start off in multiple joints--i have pain in hands and feet mostly, but occasionally in knees, hips and shoulders. My joints are not swollen nor hot. Its mostly an ache/pain and sometimes a sharp stab.
