after reading your post on how you decided to deal with your hair issues, I decided in the end it was in fact just hair. Besides, it's falling out and I am not fooling anyone by having it this long. ( quite long indeed) It dawned on me that it looked pretty crappy anyway, so off I went to the salon. (a serious treat for me financially and physically). I walked in, stated I has Fm, and scalp issues with hair loss, and please don;t be grossed out but I wanted it chopped! She was so kind and patient. I told her to leave off bangs, because it was too thin anyway, I would look like charlie brown up front! I said not realllllllll short, but its heavy and terrible at this point. Off it came, she stopped at shoulder length and I feel great. At least when it is coming out it seems like less than half just for the sheer length of it! Thanks bll, I couldnt do the bald thing willingly, but I did realize it couldn't be so bad as it seemed to me. Leeting go of the hiding behind it was great. I held my head up all day :D

good morning corin,
hooray for you. i bet you feel light and sassy. i started out long then went a bit shorter, then shorter, till finally (with pat as my inspiration) i said to heck with it all and grabbed the razor.
i am proud of you girlfriend. letting go of our locks is a big deal.
i am off to see my headshrinker today. one whole hour of healthy constructive conversation. he says i am easy money. it was due to comments he had made that led me to come here and offer my perceptions of life. he said i had alot of hope to offer others.
and now i can imagine you tossing your sassy locks! i will do one of my famous cart wheels on the resort lawn just for you today!
peace,
bluelakelady
