I take Ortho Tri Cyclin Lo. I take it around 2pm everyday. Well one day I forget and took it later that day at midnight and I forgot the next day as well and took it at midnight again, the next day is when I started taking it at my normal time. I don't think I need a back up method of birth ccontrol do I? I think that's only if you miss 2 pills in a row..

I would definately use a back up method if you were that late with 2 pills. Remember NO birth control is 100% so yes use a back up method just to be safe. Remember if you aren't prepared to deal with an accidental pregnancy then you need to stop and rethink if you should even be having sex. Use a back up method so you don't wind up with an accidental pregnancy.

ALWAYS use a backup method. Every one of my three kids was concieved while my wife was on the pill. It was no big deal, because we were prepared to deal with them and kinda like havin' the little critters around now. The pill is not 100% though and never has been. Have your BF always use a condom (which is not 100% either but combined with the pill -- it's almost iron-clad protection).

Try taking them before you go to bed at night. I leave mine ontop of my dresser.
I mess mine up all the time. I never take them at the same time. I forget pills all the time. Had to play catch up 4 times in one pack. I always forget them. There is no way I will ever get prego. I have been on and off the pill for 15 years. If I'm no t prego yet I never will be. Not that I am trying but I have been on them for to long to get prego.
You should use a backup method or just refrain from sex for that week

Just because you haven't gotten pregnant so far doesn't mean it won't happen. If you have trouble remembering to take your pill on time that often then you need to consider a different form or birth control.

Well there, if you read my post correctly you will realize I never missed taking it a DAY only by hours and that was my question.

Nah it's been 15 years. I have been on them to long. I would have to get off the pill for at least a year before I could get pregnant.
It's not that I have trouble remembering I use to take them religiously on time. I moved 3 years ago and now my dresser across the room that's the problem. I put on my PJ's and hop into bed and then look up and see them sitting there across the room. It's not a big deal I just take them when I get up the next day. I have been like this for three 3 years.
