i get incredibly nervious every time i am around them. my heart feels like it's gonna bust out of my chest every time a girl talks to me. i really need some help guys... :(

I kinda know how you feel cus im prety much the same.

All through school i didnt really hang around with girls at all and just played football, computer games and lads stuff.

It was pretty much the same in high school and when i started to get "interested" in "the ladies" i found it hard and i still do. Im 20 now.

I get shy and nervous when girls talk to me, its like i dont know what to say to them as i had nothing in common. I figured i was nervous because i felt the need to impress every girl i met and tried to be somebody im not.

I now dont get these feelings half as much and figured that people like you for who you are so why be someone your not???

Just think that girls are the same as lads but with certain added "assets" and "issues".

I told a girl i was going out with recently that she made me nervous and she couldnt understand why. She told me to be myself because thats why she liked me in the first place.

Now-a-days i have a fair few girl friends which i can meet up for a drink with and i feel quite comfortable. I still act differently when im with girls and lads but everyone does. Im much better behaved when out with girls than when out with the lads.

You still need your lads though to drink beer with, talk about football, cars and strangely enough women!!!!

If a girl comes up to you, just tell yourself shes a normal human being whose not going to laugh at you or bite you and just start talking to her. Find out if you have anything in common and starting talking.

My advice isnt very helpfull i know but its just something that you will get more and more comfortable with.

Girls feel this way to by the way!!!!

i can't enjoy anything man, I'm too nervous to even start conversation. When they talk to me I feel like I am going to literally explode. :mad:

that feeling calms down with time. find someone who has common interests, and talk to her, without any thoughts of trying to land her as a date.
