I just started Kariva (generic mircette) and am at the end of my second week on them. I didn't have break through bleeding at first, and didn't a few years ago when I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen, but since Monday of this week, I have brown dischargy stuff....kind of similiar to what I get at the very end of my period. Is this just BTB or should I be concerned? Either way, it's pretty annoying, and I ruined my favorite thong :(

Every time I've had it, it has stopped after the first pack. According to my gyn about 30% of women get it the first month, 20% the second month, and 10% the third month.

Yes, it is breakthrough bleeding. It should stop soon, but until then you're going to have to wear pantiliners... very annoying.

I don't mean to be gross, but I am getting concerned. It's very "goopy" and I still have it (now 6 days) - I have been having to wear tampons...it's not constant but when it is it's not that light.

Also, does it matter that this didn't start happening until I had sex for the first time while on this pill (i did use a condom too though)? Thanks for all your help everyone - I'm getting a little worried that something is wrong :confused:
