Ok well here is my situation... a few months ago, I noticed I had a wart like spot on my inner thigh. Now I didnt think this was unusual because I have gotten warts before on my face, and had them removed by a dermatologist. Then I guess a week or so later I realized that the wart had turned into a red bubble. So I was thinking maybe it became infected. I could see puss on the top so I tried to "pop" it. Then after that dissapeared a few weeks later, I got another red bubble on the opposite leg where they would have touched. Then I noticed I had a wart like bump on the backside of my thigh, under my butt. Then one day it was soar and when I checked it out it was a red bubble. Now this has appeared on my thighs in a total 4 places so far. Now because I am alittle worriesome at the sign of anything abnormal, I looked into it, but couldnt find a definite cause for this. But my worst case scenerio was herpes. So recently I accused my ex boyfriend of having herpes. I told him I heard it through one of his friends. Now hoping this would be completely false... apparantly my ex did find out someone he had slept with may be infected from her previous boyfriend. So my false accusation, may not be so false after all. I did not tell him that I may be showing signs of contracting it from him, but he swears he does not have it. However, because I have made such a big deal about him having it and accusing him, he said he will get tested in a few days to prove it to me that he does not have it. So I will be going with him to see the results... but does anyone know if the symptoms i mentioned sound like herpes? The only reason i'm hesitant to think that it is, is because its not on my vagina, or anywhere else. Just appeared on my inner and upper thighs. Please respond if you have any information...

It doesn't really sound like herpes to me.
Rather than blame your bf for something you don't know what it is, why don't you see a doctor?

Your poor ex must have been quite upset at the accusations. Would have been far nicer to be honest rather than make him feel bad.
However, good luck. It doesn't sound like herpes to me either.

well when I met him... we had each slept with 1 other person. Now 5 years later after being on and off with him, and having a child by him... he has slept with over 20 people... and I have still only slept with him and that original other person. So obviously when I wonder if its herpes... then it came from him! And then when I make a joke about it, and he gets all defensive and says "thats old news." I start to wonder if he really has it or not. Lets not feel bad for him... trust me!!

Well, really it doesn't sound like herpes but it can occur in other places than just the genitals. I think that your best bet is to go and get checked out yourself. Knowledge is the best medicine. Hope everything goes well.

Sounds like it could be a Staph infection
