I know this is off topic, but I know this board gets a lot of traffic. My brother is having an engagement party. The bride's parents are throwing it and they are very wealthy, so its going to be a stuffy affair. Our family and most of our friends are not wealthy - just average people. My question is - should I buy an engagement gift? If so, can all of the brothers and sisters go in on one or should it be from each couple?
