I've always had problems using tampons. I'm 34 years old & just this year, I've finally forced myself to REALLY try to use them. Well, sometimes I can get them to go in right & sometimes I can't. Sometimes even when they are in right, I can feel it falling out & I leak. I'm not sure if it's because I have a tilted uterus or not, but the same thing goes with pelvic exams & even sometimes sex can be difficult. Anyway, my husband has a vasectomy so birth control isn't really an issue for me but I need it for the hormones since I have had problems with menstrual cycles. I've tried EVERY pill out there & have problems with side effects. My dr suggested the nuva ring & I'm having a hard time imagining myself being able to insert the thing when I can't even use tampons. Does anyone else have this problem or am I a circus freak? Also, has anyone had any luck with skipping periods using nuva ring? If, a big IF, I am able to use this thing, I will be wanting to try to skip a period in 2 1/2 months. My dr's nurse said that she thinks that if I just insert a new ring in the week that my period is due, that it should skip that period. Anyone tried this????
