My dad was diagnosed weith Stage IV Lung Cancer (met to brain) in Sept 04. He has just finished radiation to his brain and lungs and will start chemo the week after next. His oncologist will be using gemzar. In reading the posts, I have noticed that gemzar is usually used in conjuction with something else. Has anyone used this as a single treatment? If so, could you tell me a little about your experience with it? Thanks,
