Has anyone here tried the new Airborne Formula tablet you drop in water to supposedly stop or prevent a cold from coming? I just tried it so I will see how it goes. Anyone else have results.?

I was planning to take a trip and was worried about getting sick. A friend of mine told me about it, so I did some research and basically the literature said it was nothing more than a bunch of vitamins in a fancy fizzy drink and you could use other, cheaper methods, just as effectively; however, my brother had some, came down with a nasty head cold. Took it before bed and next morning he was fine. Says usually he's sick for a couple of weeks. He's now a fan and swears by it.

I just posted a thread on another board about this product because I wanted to try it. I have heard great things about it. It has something in the metal family in it as well as Echenacia Dr.'s are even recomending this stuff. I was taking Collidol Silver which is VERY expensive and wasn't having much luck with it.

My brother SWEARS by it. The magazine review I read said something different. Guess I'd give it a try if I had a nasty cold. It only costs about $6.

It DID NOT WORK for me. I started taking it when a lot of people around me were sick. I took it religiously and then 3 days later I had one of the worst colds I ever had. It lasted a whole two weeks and I continued taking the Airborne hoping it would help me get over it faster.

I say don't waste your money!
