Hi. I'll try to make a very long story short. In July I had a pulmonary embolism as a result of a 2nd trimester twin fetal demise. I also have had superficial thrombosis twice before. I was on warfarin for 5 months, 20 mgs because they had trouble getting blood thin enough. I also had an emergency hysterectomy 4 months after loss of twins due to placenta rupture. The did lots of blood work to find out if I have a blood clotting disorder. The only thing they found was a MTHFR DNA mutation that can cause vascular and cardiac problems....when I am older...I just turned 35. Anyway, 6 days ago I started with a pressure in my chest and it escalated to feeling very winded. The pain does radiate to my left shoulder and arm. It sometimes goes into my throat and gets worse with exertion. The pain has gotten worse as the days go by. Feel like I cant breath and like I will pass out. Very dizzy too sometimes. Saw my DR and my ox. level went to 78 and pulse to 101 when I moved. Spiral CT scan showed no PE nothing wrong w/ lungs. Pulmonary DR. then saw me and told me my breathing tests were normal. He said could be heart or anxiety. I'll tell you, I think an anxiety dx is legit., but I am definately not an anxious person. I dn't think that is it. Anyway, I am going for some stress test type test next week and will also see a rheumy DR (thay think there might be some autoimmune stuff going on in relation to loss of pregnancy and other sx) Could the test that showed my ox level drop be wrong? Is it my heart or someting else? Should I be concerned? BTW, all my tests have ALWAYS come back normal, even when I had PE (CT scan showed that) and when my uterus ruptures....I have always surprised the DRs. Thanks in advance. Julie
