I Have had this problem only once before when i took some diet pills. This time i have been on a liver cleansing diet for a few weeks which basicaly means lots of natural stuff,no Dairy,No artificial anything,no red meat, and no added sugars along with a liver tonic in powder form. The first movement in the morning in the last few days will result in a considerable amount of oil floating on the water,it not red or black.also have been a little constipated even though i do eat well with additional fibre.I am 39 yo male and have drank fairly heavy for the last 20 years, not everyday but every weekand not this year.I have found it easy stopping this time.I drink lots of water as i also suffer with a constinatly dry mouth. I do have hemmoroid flair ups sometimes when stressed.I do suffer what is read as ribbon poo alot but not all the time.Sometimes my bowell will relax completly and everything will be over in a matter of seconds,Makes me feel like a normal person.any help would be great
Thanks

Watch those diets. They can get a person into trouble.

I read a book, You Are What You Eat (mcKeith) and she recommends this for greasy stools.

- Sprinkle flaxseeds on salads or soup every day
- 3 cups sage tea every day
- Tsp spirulina every day
- Eat liver strenghthening foods such as broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, garlic, eggs, turnip root, nuts, seeds, flax
- Take L'glutamine powder before all mals
- Do a home enema

Also, you could try drinking some Kerfir. Its a dairy product but is fermented with kerfir grains that not only has an amazing amount of accodophuls but also increases the good bacteria in the colon. This might help
