my bf and i are sexually active, and i recently got on the pill as a more affective form of bc. i'm taking ortho lo and have been on it for 1 week. i started taking it on a sunday, and on the 6th day we had unprotected sex (the condom broke). he did no ejaculate in me because we luckily realized what was going on before he could orgasm... but i know there is still a risk with precum. what are my chances of getting pregnant from this event and is it ok if i wait until tuesday to contact my doctor?

If you think you could be, it's always better to find out for sure. You don't want to harm your baby if you are pregnant and don't know it. Just swing by your local Planned Parenthood and get a quick test done. They'll do it for free. Then you won't have to worry. :)

thanks for the advice. i will do that. however, i've never been to one of the Planned Parenthood clinics, so if anyone wouldn't mind telling me what to expect, what information i will need, or any other useful first-time details i would greatly appreciate it!
