I smashed my toe on Halloween. I t was the worst pain in the world. My toenail turned completely black and now is about to fall off. ( Guess I won't be wearing sandals for a while!!!lol) Does anyone know how long it takes for your toenail to grow back? Also, the skin underneath is black. Anyone that has any experience with this that could shed some light would be appreciated.

I had my toenail come off after one of my surgeries. It took a couple of weeks to grow back but it didnt bother me as much as I thought it would. Hope it comes back soon!

The black is problebly old blood...just keep an eye on it and let it get air.

Do you think my nail will be back in time for summer? Also, will it look normal?

Mine came back quickly and it looks normal. It was weird though because it grew from the bottom, it was just kinda weird looking but you would never know that the nail was gone now.
