I dont know where to ask this, so Im just going to ask it here.

I've been on BC for over 6 months now and never had any problems with it. However when I was starting my 7th month I did something completely STUPID....I was half awake taking my pill in the morning like i always do, well I noticed that that day on my wheel was set wrong and instead of just figuring out that i did not reset the spin wheel right before adding the new pill pack, i freaked out and took 3 extra pills thinking I missed 3 days. Well like i said before I took 3 pills when i wasnt supposed to. So for the passed 3 days I just didn't take pills (because I already had) well tomorrow is when I would continue to take the pills normally. But Today i got my period (I already had my period a week or so ago) I know this is "normal" when starting the pill. But could this have happened because I have missed 3 days or over dosed on pills 3 days ago? What should I do? Should I continue the regular pack tomorrow or should i throw it out and start all over again? It's sunday so My doctor isn't in and the pharmacy isn't open. I have no clue what to do.

you might wanna try looking up the brand of pills yout akeon the net and seeing if there is any information there that might can help you. if you can't get ahold of your pharmacy or doctor, then try another pharmacy, they should be able to help you. just tell them yours is closed and you just have a question and need some advice. good luck

Taking three pills as once when you didn't need to was a mistake with no real consequence, but deciding not to take any for the next three days was probably the wrong thing to do. The point is to keep you hormone level EVEN, but what you did instead was let it drop to zero - so to speak (it's not like your body stockpiles the stuff). Now your body thinks it's time for a period (or time to ovulate, depending).

When you have missed 3 days in a row, most pill instructions will tell you to throw out the rest of the pack and start a new pack that day. (if you're a Sunday starter, keep taking one until Sunday, then throw them out and start a new pack). They also say it may mess up your cycle and to make sure you use another form of contraception because the pills will not be effective for the next 7 days.
