Can you recommend any good books or magazines that comprehensively cover GOUT and RA and ways to treat it? My brother is suffering terribly, but does not have Internet access. Suggestions appreciated.

Nothing I've found that's too specific.
Look for a texbook on arthritis in a good library. The Chapter he wants is GOUTY ARTHRITIS...it's more likely that's what he has rather than RA.Both hurt like Hell, but treatments differ markedly.
