sunflowerhope 01-17-2005, 11:08 AM have the fairest skin out there, need a good cover up foundation for oily/acne prone skin, anyone know any good ones?thanks Sponsor joche 01-17-2005, 03:00 PM Revlon Colorstay, Almay Skin Stays Clean liquid foundation and Estee Lauder Ideal Matte are all good for oily skin. Betsy Johnson 01-17-2005, 05:16 PM Clinique prefectly real foundation or if u want long wearing extra matte Superfit from Clinique..I've use both.. jennfaery 01-18-2005, 02:25 AM I just bought dream matte mousse and I love it! i dont even have to apply powder anymore and it stays all day long! sunflowerhope 01-18-2005, 08:08 AM who makes that? Betsy Johnson 01-19-2005, 08:48 AM I had a few posts in the past about people liking the matte mousse foundation then suddenly hating it..so needless to say what works for one may not another... BoOtYLiCiOuSbAbE 01-19-2005, 01:11 PM i dont know what all products you have already tried.. but my skin gets oil and i know certain kinds of foundation tend to make it break out more! i really like cover girl aqua smooth.. its easy to use since its a cream kind in a compact with a sponge! it is more affordable than going and buying a department store brand.. and it is oil free.. moisturizes only with water! it never makes my oily skin break out and i think it helps it get less oily. it does great covering.. not very thick but looks just right i think! my skin used to be very fair (i have been tanning) and i would wear ivory.. the lighest one. it matched my skin but i didnt think the color was THAT light! well i wish you good luck finding some makeup you like! Jelohi 01-28-2005, 07:56 PM I think Maybelline makes Dream Matte Mousse. I like that one, but haven't been able to get the right color - I've bought 3 different ones so far LOL! I also like Cover Girl Tru Blend, it doesn't cover as well as the mousse, but looks more natural through the day (or it just might be my color issues). The Tru Blend pressed powder is really nice too! I used to use Neutrogena Skin Clearing for years & years, but when I switched to Tru Blend, people noticed & said it looked much better. The Neutrogena never did anything for my acne anyway & is more expensive! BoOtYLiCiOuSbAbE 01-29-2005, 05:24 PM Oh cool so the loreal dream matte mousse is a little more covering than Tru Blend? i think it works good but it's true, not that much coverage. Covergirl aquasmooth has a little more and looks very natural and you can't feel it. i dont care for neutrogena either!! a lot of the colors are too pink for my face too!! about how you bought the wrong colors, did you try returning them? i just bought the wrong color foundation and USED it... and was able to return it still at Walmart (drugstores do that too)! so if you havent.. make sure you have your receipt, packaging (if any) and take it back to not waste money! Kiwi17 02-01-2005, 10:46 PM Maybelline Wonder finish is great(it goes from liquid to powder) & also Clinique superfit! |
