Does anyone have any special ways they relax with fibro?

I play Neopets and Powerpets online. (I like the community feeling on Powerpets :D) I also enjoy birdwatcing and writing poetry and reading.

I have a special bird. She was a House Sparrow with a twisted leg. She was sickly when I first saw her. I layed extra seeds on our porch for her because she couldn't grab onto anything with her legs she was so weak. She's so healthy now! :) She chirps at me and eats from her special bowl on the front porch :) She also gave me grandbirdies :)

I'm alittle crippled sometimes with the fibro but if my sparrow could get better so can I :)

hi kat,
i paint, garden, read, walk, swim, bake, and write. i listen to trees sing. i watch birds dance. i see fish fly. i visit with my duck friends. i look for the signs in nature that assure me the balance is there.
feeding and caring for nature cannot help but bring you peace. you cannot gift the love you have in service of another without being changed.
peace,

Relaxing seems to be one of the keys to feeling better with this... I meditate and do yoga, I paint when I am up to it. I LOVE decorating, and often am sewing or working on some project for my home. I try to read, but that doesn't always work- sometimes I just can 't focus on it-or REMEMBER what I have read! I try to spend time with friends and family and laugh. When it is warm here ( WI) I love to be outside, either digging in the dirt...or swimming in my pool. or sometimes just FLOATING in my pool! But, mostly I try to elimiate stressful people...and stressful thinking from my day!
