Hi my husband just got switched from zyprexa to risperdal.. can anyone tell me if they are on this drug and if they like it?? I think he said its been around for about 10 years.. thank you meljo

My daughter was on Risperdal for a few years. The med really helped her with hallucinations, but it wasnt worth the side effects that came with it. Dizzy all the time, face bloated up really bad from non stop eating...a ton of stretch marks. She was on a pretty high dose though, so maybe a smaller dosage wouldnt bring on such side effects. Good luck:)
p.s. eventually we left Risperdal and tried Abilify. So far so good...its been almost 2 years now.
