I had my gallbladder removed in May and still have pains. I have a knawing pain on my lower right side and back side and sometimes when I touch it it hurts. It goes from my lower pelvis up to my right rib cage. I can feel a knot all the way up too that feels like your colon or intestines. One doctor told me this was normal to feel if you are skinny. I still have the pain like there's still a gallbladder. Pain behind my rib cage and in front. I've been diagnosed with IBS with C, but is this a symptom of it? I only have it on my right side and not my left. It gets really annoying. I have a lot of gas that just gurgles in my stomach and I can't get it out. I've been put on Zelnorm but it just gives me the D. Any help would be great, it's been a year I've been dealing with this.
