I have been on fosamax for 3 years for osteopenia in my hips. I broke my foot due to falling down the stairs 2 weeks ago. I have heard that because of taking fosamax and therefor having altered the natural bone structure it may take much longer to heal. Has anyone ever heard that this is indeed true? :eek:
