Hey!
I don't know if this has been done before, but let's start a thread about beauty tips! Everyone can right their favourite secrets, for hair, make-up, skin, etc., etc., etc.! We will all be beauty queens!
I'll start... This will make everyone's hair curly, curly, curly! After showering, brush your hair. Run the bath full blast and flip your head upside down and SOAK your hair. Don't flip it until you're done! Now, scrunch until all the water's out. Then scrunch in gel/mousse, and any other curl products. Now diffuse it touching the hair as little as possible! Like, leave the diffuser in one spot for about a minute! Your curls will be BEAUTIFUL! I have curly hair and this makes my hair PERFECTLY CURLED. My sister has stick straight hair and it curls her hair naturally! There you go!

hi
Ill have to try that. I have limp do nothing sort of hair. I curl its down in 1/2 hour. I hate my hair. But I love my length. Its to my butts. And the thoughts of cutting it is noooooooo!!!!!!!! What type of diffuser do you use. I've never used one.
I have a tip with eyeliner pencils. To keep them moist I call it. put it in the freezer for 5 mins before applying. It will not crack, break or clump while putting it on. It works all the time for me. Thanx and take care

Hello,
I use a Conair diffuser. You buy them at Sally for about $6-$7. They fit on most blow dryers. I swear by them!

My beauty tip is hair coloring, and how easy it is to do it yourself (unless you do highlights or whatever that may require a 'professional')...
I had my stylist color my hair (mostly roots) that we're dark with grey hairs...It was time consuming and expensive! One time, she left me too long under the dryer and I came out too light.
Frustrated, I went to Sally's and got some guidance on a color, the developer and all the other stuff (gloves, bottles, conditioner).
Home I went to experiment. Now, if I want to change, or mix colors, shades, I can do it myself...I go lighter in the summer, darker in the winter...it's so much more convenient and CHEAP!!!
I discovered if I messed up, it could be fixed...I went from too dark to just right in one weekend...my hair didn't all fall out, it was a bit dry, but otherwise, fine....I prefer to do this on my own, then try to explain to my hairdresser, or look at the swatches they have, ....I know my hair better than anyone...I've learned what base to look for, etc.
It's great, and not very hard...you have more flexibility at beauty supply stores, as far as how light you want to 'lift' the color..moreso, than buying the total box kit of color at Target or other places-- they may not have the right base for your hair color, etc...and does your hair always look like the color on the box?
Anyway, hope this helps others.
