Does your breast hurt after you have menstrated? I have sore breast and I never had sore breast before or after mentrating. Is that something to worry about?

I started getting sore breasts just this past two years. I have been on depo, therefore had no idea when I may get hit with it. This past year, it was so bad I thought I would die. I would take off my bra and it was so painful. It was hard to workout and waking up in the am was just as bad as taking the bra off. My boobs literally went up two cup sizes (hubby loved that). One time it lasted for over a month. Hasn't happened now for six though. I don't know how old you are, but as we age our bodies go through hormonal changes, and this is one thing that can change on us. I started having issues when I was 25 and I am now 27. Mid to late twenties is a common time to have these changes. I know there are other "age milestones" when this happens, but I don't exactly know when. MEnopause is for sure one of them. BUt, winded as I get, to answer your q-yes. Normal. NOT normal if one breast is affected and the other is not. OTherwise, see your dr if you are concerned.

Me too, not after, BEFORE. Everyone is different, but I know it's normal.

Yeah it's normal to get the change in breasts but there are things that can be done to prevent it, like cutting out caffeine and taking Vit A, C & E supplements cos although its common you shouldn't really have to put up with the pain.
I'm suffering with mine quite badly at the moment which is what made we start searching healthboards. {removed}

I hope this helps. :wave:
