I have peach fuzz on my face which isn't noticable from far away but up close you can see a lot. Would shaving down on it cause it to grow back thicker or darker? Are there other ways to make it go away?

Everybody has facial hair if you shave it, it will grow back thicker and courser, If it really bothers you I would suggestion waxing it but then again that might irrate your face too this is my only suggestions but good luck with it.

Problem with shaving as it grows out it can feel rough- so if anyone is intimate with you or even a friendly greeting which involves a kiss on the cheek can , the other person can feel the stubbies.
Depending on the color and thickness- check out laser treatments. But mild facial hair is very normal for nearly all women-
If you start looking closely at other women you will notice it- I have very light blond hairs on my face. No one seems to notice it cause I am always told what beautiful skin I have. The problem is only me, that is when I focus on it.

xyz321,
Facial hair is not uncommon especially in dark haired women. They make a product called Nair for sensitive skin and other brands that is a cream you can put on, let it sit, then wipe the hair away.

The only thing that works for me and my blonde peach fuzz is an epilator. It's painful when you first start using it but it makes my face look SO good and hairless AND it doesn't break me out like waxing or Nair so it's worth the pain.

My face has gotten more hair as I've gotten older. I tried facial hair removers, but they irritated my skin. I was scared of the pain of waxing. So...I tried shaving. It has worked out great. I only have to do it like every 8 or 9 days and it does NOT grow back courser or thicker or darker at all. And the stubble is soft, not prickly like a man's beard. I think those are all "old wive's tales".

I bleach my upper lip, because I have dark brown hair, and so my facial hair is dark. I have been looking for something to use to get rid of the rest of it; i have a lot of peach fuzz too, and it makes my makeup look caked on, sometimes.
Has anyone ever tried the Nair for sensitive skin? I'm just wondering how it worked, because I have extremely sensitive skin when it comes to hair removal products, and I don't really want to try it if it's going to make me break out...yuck
