Hi...I wasn't really sure where to post this question....so I'll give it a try here. My mother, age 60, was diagnosed with porcelain gallbladder on an x-ray recently. I did some research on the web, and it shows that it is mostly related to gallbladder cancer. I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with this topic or knows anything about this from a personal point of view. She sees a surgeon on Friday, and I am sure that she has to have her gallbladder removed....so anybody who has anything to offer about surgery or their outcome afterwards would be much appreciated. My mom is very, very dear to me and if anybody could answer ANYTHING about this soon would be wonderful.
