i may need to get a spinal tap done for some other health issues. Will they be able to tell I have herpes from this? I've already been diagnosed but hate to share it if i don't have to.

They shouldn't know. What is it they are testing for/trying to do?

they would be checking for possible MS and checking for some other things from the sample they get through the spinal tap. Thank you for responding
