im 15 years old. I have this little lump on my ear. it really small it started out hurting like a pimple or a zit but it stopped hurting and stayed there. its kinda in my ear lobe. Anything to worry about? I worry a lot i am a severe hypochondriac so please dont say something thats going to scare me.
my mom is a nurse she says its probaly a cyst or something cause tumors in that area wouldnt hurt and this thing came up in one day.
i dont want to die

Listen to your Mom...she's right that it's probably a cyst! That's exactly how they appear...like a pimple, but then the soreness goes away and it kind of hardens. If you want to get rid of it, try soaking your ear lobe with a hot washcloth several times a day and that may eventually draw it out. Frankly, I'd just leave it alone.

id also like to say that like a month ago it hurt again and seemed to get bigger but once it stopped hurting it went back down to pretty much how it was before.

Cystic pimples can sometimes act like little volcanoes...errupting periodically, then calming down for a while. It's really quite common at your age to have these kinds of things. If you have acne, you could ask a dermatologist for suggestions as to the best treatment for it, but if it's just one or two pimples/cysts, I really would just leave them alone. They very well may go away after a while.
