Hi! I'm going on a HUGE HEALTHY weight loss... I plan to loose about 70-80 pounds. I've already started and I'm worried about having excess, flabby skin when I'm done. I want to wear a bikini when I'm done, but I'm afraid I'll have gross skin and stretch marks after. How can I stop these things from happening? How can I have a NICE, HOT body when I'm done? Haha Thanks in advance!!!

I wish I had something wonderful to say, but unfortunately the only cure for that hanging skin and stretch marks is a tummy tuck. I know it stinks, I'm in that boat too having had twins 14 months ago and now having that stretched out tummy skin. Luckily no stretch marks. Someone explained it to me like.....Its like elastic on your pants, it gets stetched out after a while and there is no way to get it to go back. Same kind of thing. Sorry, good luck with your weight loss.

Agreed, skin being stretched is actually thined out at certain points. This thinning, creates the stretch marks you see. Once your skin is stretched, chances are that your not goin to be hable to lose the extra skin.
However, the skin can and will shrink back to normal, but this does not happen overnight, somtimes taking as much as 1-2 years.

That's not true if you have a baby. Women complain of loose skin being permanent. Some have it for 10-20 years and the only fix is to remove the skin. You may not experience this with your weight loss, if you are lucky. Also, developing great muscle tone can help alot. Skin adheres to muscle, so you can look alot better if you do strength training too.
