Hello,
Can someone tell me how to figure out how many callories I should be eating a day and how many grams of protein?
I am 33, 5'2", female and currently weigh 115.
I want to lose about 10 lbs. (my weight before depo shot) and gain some muscle. I need to work on abs and legs and butt, and some arms but do not want to bulk up.
Thanks!

I weigh the same at the same height lol...Like 1400 kcal? Check out my thread there might be some information in there because we're sort of the same stats with same goals (but I'm only trying to lose 5...but might continue to lose if I can or am not satisfied)

try pilates, or yoga, they will strengthen and elongate your muscles. if you wish to lift wieghts, find a moderate strength, and do more reps, and sets. if you choose heavey weights, and only do say one set and then feel as if you about to colapse, then your bulking and not toning. keep in mind, you will build muscle, and it weighs more, so don't be afraid when the scales don't go down.
how long have you been off depo? i had to be off of it for 1 year before i started to see results. I've also learned that it's not about what the scale says, it's about how good you feel, and how your clothes feel. i was obsesed about the scale once, but i'm 10 lbs heavier the i think i should be, but i still feel great, and can look at myself in the mirror, and finally say damn you look good.
