Hi! I went to the doc today for a check on how the orthotics were doing for me. I told him that when I spend a fair amount of time walking that my second and third toes go numb. He looked at the bottom of my foot, and I have a nerve problem on the pad of my foot just under the toes. He says that's whats causing the numbness, and it's a result of having the surgery and wearing the orthotics, because now I'm walking on different parts of my foot and causing pain elsewhere. Has anyone else had this problem? He told me to massage the area, and take advil. I'm supposed to go back in 2 weeks for an ultrasound. Sure hope it's good news then.
