Any thoughts? laurabell 01-19-2005, 09:59 PM a good natural way i have heard works wonders is inositol powder you can mix in any type of drink, i always put it in my juice. also take fish oil capsules. those two alone are awesome. but if you can find kava root, the combo of the three is perfect. i never knew where to find kava root though. carey646 01-20-2005, 05:20 PM I tried it! Didnt work! Sorry! americandancer 01-20-2005, 08:09 PM I think we would all like to try something natural. I just don't know where to start because the only person I can rely on is my md who is always pushing an ad. I would love to hear more about this...I have heard about the fish oil caplets and just don't think it helps with our issues. j28 01-20-2005, 08:25 PM i know-- natural would be good-- i'm willing to give anything a shot. my pdoc has tried me on 3 ad's and they just give me horrible side effects-- although i just don't know what is my anxiety and what are the side effects any more, i have klonopin but am afraid of it too although its the only think that lets me stop freaking out and puts me to sleep. i have such fear of taking medicine... the internet can be such a terrible place for a panicking hypochondriac, thus also my finding of clarocet and getting sucked in by a 'pretty' website. i try not to let it get me down but its been 4 months and i feel like i'm back at square one. sigh... hry33 01-21-2005, 04:06 PM they have a website I think, these all nauural things may be worth trying but they havent really shown to do better than placebo effect, however the placebo effect can be quite high for anxiety and panic attacks...... in the old days most meds were liquid and had a horrible taste and smell...... the worse these were, the better the med worked  |
