I have finally started running on my treadmill these past 2 weeks because I need to get in shape. But I am curious on how to get rid of my so called "love handles" I am a very small person and they are very small as well. So many people say they are impossible to get rid of, but considering mine aren't really there at all, isn't there something I could do?

If the love handles (I just love that name for them!) are from a bit of extra fat, then losing fat in general (by burning more calories in exercise and/or eating fewer calories) will make all the pads of fat on your body smaller. If they are from flabby muscles, which is the case for most of us  then I'm sad to say that only regular abdominal exercises will tighten up the muscles and thereby make the love handles go away.

yeah running will help burn up fat! and also when you do crunches do side crunches.. helped me! i didnt really have love handles but just a tiny bit! i am not a big person, i wear a size 1 or 3.. but theres always parts of me i want to improve on! but yeah try side crunches.. and this is weird but sometimes i stretch.. like standing and bending the upper body forward and to each side.. it stretches that area and i just kind of hold it tight and somehow that helps too... kinda hard to explain what i do.. haha!
