I have had a pain on my right side, were my ovary would be I guess. It has been hurting off and on since Sunday. Hurts when I walk, and occasionally just a stabbing pain that will last about 20 seconds or so. Intercourse is also painful, I can push on it and it hurts. Calling the dr. in morning just wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this.

Yes, unfortunately I've been experiencing this for some time. Strange thing is...that I've had a hysterectomy so I don't even have a right ovary. Doctor says it may be nerve damage..something about nerves sending false messages to the brain resulting in pain. He's talking about putting me on Neurotin (sp?) which is what they do to treat chronic pain. That's about all I can do to help. If you figure out what it is PLEASE let me know so I can ask my doctor if your problem could possibly be the same as mine. Thanks.

I have also experienced that pain and it turned out to be an ovarian cyst, which eventually popped, which hurts A LOT

It can also be a fibroid or endometriosis. Or it could even be something with the bowel--irritable bowel syndrome. You'll feel a lot better if you go and find out exactly what's causing your pain and then you can treat it and feel better. Let us know what your doc says.
