Hey all!
I took Paxil for about a year (2003-2004) then I quit for about 3 months... Anyways, I've been taking it for about 6 weeks now (30 mg./day) and it doesn't really seem to be working? For all you Paxil users out there, how long was it until it began to WORK? I know it's different in everyone, but if it doesn't start soon I'm going to switch meds! HELP! :bouncing:

P.S. I love these UP days... I wish they could last forever, and ever, and ever... :wave: However, I feel my DOWN time is coming soon! :o

Paxil worked immediately on me. I felt out to lunch on the first day. It never did help me sleep which is why I was put on it in the first place though. Of course after almost a year of it I went manic however.. . . I hope you're in a mood stabilizer with it or things could get interesting.

Paxil never did work for me. In fact, it immediately worsened my panic disorder... I had lengthier, more severe, more frequent panic attacks. We got off of it. Ah, memories... it was my very first psychotropic drug... I can't tell you how many drugs I've been on... probably 25 or 30, literally. Up to 10 at a time as insane as that sounds.
