what could be the cause of non stop sore throats? it seems for the last year, almost every single day, my throat is either sore, like it hurts to swallow or it just feels weird. i can't really remember a time when my throat didn't bother me at least part of the day. it normally doesn't bother me all day or not, but it bothers me for awhile, then it stops. then, when it gets colder at night, it bothers me.
any ideas of what is causing this or how i can help to stop it?

Most likely you have post nasal drip due to inhalent allergies. There are pollens and other pollutants in the air all year round. Much will depend on what you are allergic to. Have you tried anahisitmines?
Irrigating sinuses with salt water will help keep sinuses cleaned out and reduce the drip. I use homemade salt water and also use "4-Way Saline" over the counter. Gargling with very warm water with Cool Mint Listeren Mouthwash added relieves a sore throat and kills bacteria.
Taking 1/2 to 1 teaspoon plain Robitussin at bedtime, nothing to drink afterward will help keep mucous in throat thinned and less chance of throat being sore the next morning.
