I had bunion surgery on wednesday, I am not sure the proceedure is called, but he shaved the bone, cut out a pie wedge a put in a screw. He said he needed to do more manipulation that expected and it will hurt more than he thought.
But so far so good, wednesday night was the worst with searing hot pain, yesterday was pretty good, but last night was pretty rough.
Anyway, thanks for all the advice, I needed it!

Good to hear you are doing better. Each day will be better...the nights seem to be hardest for me, not sure why! Take it slow and heal well

Keep those feet elevated and the ice on as much as possible (frozen peas are great). That plus your pain meds will help a lot.
