I stutter, I stammer, I don't have an answer for just the passer by question.

I know the statistics on lung cancer. How to answer??

When people asked "how is Scott". I would say "as best as he can be, under the circumstances". No need to really say anymore then that.

I know this post was from a while back but I had to respond because I so relate with not knowing what to say. It's a struggle. Everyone at work asks me nearly everyday and it seems I say the same thing, and then my thoughts stay on my mom and I struggle. I just try to keep in mind that everyone is trying to be concerned and show that they are, it's just so hard to talk about and deal with. I read your other post and just responded to it. I hope there are better days ahead for you.
