Okay, I havent had another OB since my primary in november 04! And as of like 3 days ago I had another series of headaches that wouldnt go away, they would lighten up, but return after the advil wore off.

Anyway now the headache is gone and Im ITCHY down there :(
Im not seeing any visible sores, and im not seeing any discharge. I remember having massive discharge w/my primary and im not seeing any.

God I just wanna take a fork and scartch the heck out of it....is this an outbreak? :dizzy:

Make some garlic oil and swab it gently on with a q-tip. It does sound like an ob, although it could be a yeast infection.

yeah thats what I was thinking, but there is no discharge? is this common?

You can get yeast infections without any discharge. Have you tried taking an over the counter remedy for yeast and seeing if the problem clears up?

no the headache just started a couple days ago, the itchiness started today!! So I havent decided yet...

You should just go to the doctor and get a prescription for Diflucan. Its one pill, and it wont hurt anything if you dont have a yeast infection.

i dont have insurance and I know that pill isnt cheap! my mom has had to buy a couple of them for BV. And I cannot afford another doctor bill Im still paying for my cultural swab lab testing bill from november!

I think i'll get 3day treatment for a yeast infection instead! Cheaper!

You would think some pharamaceutical company would have invented an at home test kit for yeast infections which would eliminate the worry of "is it a yeast infection or something else" as yeast infections seem to be so common these days.

If it's and ob, i had great success with eliminating my herpes itch by breaking open a garlic gel capsule and squeezed it onto a q-tip to apply. The same, i suppose, as mixing the olive oil with the garlic, but with the capsules i could take them to work for emergencies and apply it in the toilets if the need arose. In fact i find the garlic to work better than the tea tree i used to use.

Would I just apply to the itchy area? because its not like i have any sores its just itchy. It's starting to go away now too. So i dont think it was yeast infection because I never treated it.

I noticed the itchy feel more so after I used the little girls room. So far today I havent had any itchys...

Yeah, i just apply it to where i feel itchy.

As for yeast infections, i was plagued by them continously for a few years running till i got rid of them forever. I had all kinds, some had discharge, some didn't, some weren't even itchy and i felt nothing until i'd go to have sex with my partner and i'd feel as though i'd been rubbed with sandpaper on the inside, ouch!!

I gather you are in the States? Don't you have the planned parenthood clinics? would they do a vaginal swab cheaper or for free compared to your regular doc? just to determine whether it is yeast or something else?

You are talking a lot about headaches. What are headaches a sign of? I never get sick, never get headaches but I have had one that comes and goes for weeks now. I am having an OB right now. Is this a side affect of the OB?

from what I understood from looking up info on websites about herpes is that headaches can be a side effect to it. I had a nasty headache for like 3 days leading up to my primary, I was taking advil and everything I could. It'd fade but once the drug wore off it was gone...

So I thought having another instance where my headache wouldnt go away could be a sign... different for everyone i guess.

Okay I havent had any problems down there for a few days now no more itchyness or anything!

I shave my pubic area, all of it! And now I look down to where it was itchy a few days ago and there is an area that looks like an ingrown hair. I inspected it and it looks like that was the case, because it doesnt burn when I pee. And i distinkfully remember when i had my primary it burned like a mother!!

Anyone else have an idea?

I actually just got off the phone with a herpes hot line because I have been driving my self nuts about this intense itching. I have been in my docs office 3 times a month because of it allergra does help btw.it is not recommended to put any creams on it. I asked the guy about this intense itch believe it or not not alot but some do get this.I was digonised in nov 04 also or around that time and in july had the itch from hell I have had 4 yeast cultures done which all were neg including tested for every std there is 3 times. the guy on the hotline said that is my outbreak I only once got a sore which was inside and havent gotten another but the itch is always there sometimes not so bad at others I could scratch my self raw I at one time was black and blue from me scratching so bad.I'm going to see someone new to find out and we'll see what he has to say.but to let everyone know for some that is the symptom

Yeah I still wonder about it on me. The same area is kinda sore right now, funny that this post was brought back up. It's only sore when I get done using the bathroom (wiping that is) and I felt it last night and there is a bump there, but it's "inside" my labia so to speak. It's not a visible bump or sore, not like what I had when i had my primary, its not open or anything but if i put a finger on each side i can feel it?

I donno, good thing i wont be having any sexual contact over the next few just incase haha

well went to the gynos yesterday and he said that I have baterical vaginistis that has been left untreated so have an extream case of it. ok all here is the kicker. this guy is not convinced I have herpes. He said it is actully extreamly diffucult to digionse in blood work because of cross something or other there are 7 other things that will make blood work come out postive inculiding mono,chicken pox, shimgles, and epstien barr virus. I have been saying that my itch has been my outbreak because i have never felt such an intense itch ever. The spot or sore so I thought turns out to be a silver spot which I am going to have to have biospyied along with one other that I have inside but can't until the bv is cleared up. He also said the only sure way to tell if it is hepers if you are having an outbreak and there is a sore and have that cultured. so this is what he told me to do. go off valtrex, have to use this gel 2x a day moring and night with another refill because mine is so extream, go back in two weeks to get biospised and at any time if I do break out into a sore or leason to come right in and he will take me on walk in to culture it that day. because i have already had 2 cultures that came back neg is why he is not convinced. so it feels like a little reprive for me this in anyway doesnt mean I dont have it but at least know I feel like it is a possiblity. I went as far as contacting the 6 parntners in the past 13 years and had them get tested which so far all of them have come back neg. waiting on one more result.I have to say this has devesated my whole life, so it may be wishful thinking but here to it just in case.
