Hi all,

Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I read a post by Marti saying that in TX (I'm near Arlington) there is certain criteria that nail techs must follow to sanitize, but I've yet to find any that follow this. So, can anyone recommend a nail tech to go to that ensures it is sanitary?

There are several RDA distributors in your area, so if you look in the phone book for Redken Distributor Associates under the Beauty Supply section of the yellow pages, you should find one. Call and ask them to recommend someone to you or a salon to you that they KNOW that has a clean salon and that follows all the rules of sanitation and disinfection. One of their salesstaff should know of a salon because the salesstaff call on the salons personally. They may recommend someone in a full service salon vs a nails only salon, but they shouldn't steer you wrong. I know most of the distributor owners because I used to teach classes for them, so you can mention my name and they may be more helpful - at least I figure they will be if whoever answers the phone has either heard of me or knows me. If youhave any trouble, let me know and I will see if I can locate someone for you, but it might take me a while.
