Anyone try it? It's supposed to be similar to their pure powder but better for dry or sensitive skin...Allow me to quote the site:

Glissade is the result of several years of customer feedback and testing... while many women revel in the freedom of mineral foundations, an equally large percentage of women find mineral foundations drying, itching, tightening and sensitizing to their skin... and they cannot wear them happily or successfully. We've developed "Glissade" so that you may experience the ingredient simplicity of minerals in a formula that utilizes silicone-coated pigment technology, thereby providing a "buffer" between your skin and the pigments.

Glissade looks just like you'd expect any mineral foundation to appear- a fine, loose powder... however, when you begin to apply it, you begin to feel a smooth, luxurious, gliding, silky feeling on your skin... application is effortless... the powder glides over your skin and melds with your own skintone yielding the appearance of perfection.

It sounds great. I really liked the pure powder but it was a bit too dry, so I'm thinking of trying this. If you've tried it lemme know what you think.

I like it - but I've decided I like the Voile better. However, my dd has dry, sensitive skin & she prefers the Glissade.

Why do you like the Voile better?

I like the consistency better - and it seems to work better for my slightly oily skin.

I wonder about this stuff too. I can't tell you how many times I've used a 'new and improved' fromula, and ended up liking the old one better. So I was scared to buy this stuff.

belle, can you compare this to the old formula. What did you notice different about it? I'd be very interested to know.

Well, the samples are very inexpensive, so you can try the new formulas without spending a lot of money.

The Glissade has a "creamier" feel to it - I assume from the added silicones. It still goes on like a powder, but it has a "smoother" texture. I also felt that it gave a little more coverage than the Voile or a Pure Powder/Pure Cover 50/50 mix - but less than the Pure Cover alone. I think at the end of the day, my face tends to look slightly oilier with the Glissade - but for my dd, who has dry skin, it looks great.

The Voile I find very similar to a Pure Powder/Pure Cover 50/50 mix, which is what I used before the new formulas were created. I get good coverage & don't look oily.

Thanks for your reply!
I'm just confused because I don't have dry skin, but when I tried this stuff before I still preferred the pure powder to the pure cover.
But you are saying the new Glissade is better for dry skin. Guess one day I'll have to just take my chances and order it.

(I really don't like doing the samples, cause to me they aren't so cheap after S&H. And I feel the same about shipping charges as I do tipping)

But thank you for sharing.

Well, if your skin isn't dry, then that would explain why you prefer the PP to the PC - and the coverage of the PP is lighter. If that's the case, then you'd probably like the Voile better than the Glissade.

I usually just wait until I either have other items to order or a lot of samples so that the s/h doesn't seem so extreme. :)

Thanks for you help Belle. I'm almost out of BE, and I haven't been loving it, so I'll prob order one or the other and just take my chances. Maybe I'll order extra samples with it.

Thanks for the replies! I'm planning on ordering some samples of the Glissade and a few other things pretty soon here. I found a promotional code for $5 off your first order of $20 or more...so that could come in handy if you were planning on trying a bunch of samples: NEWBEAUTY
