I found a bump between my vagina and my leg, between them at the top a little more toward my vagina. Its small, when I first noticed it, it hurt a lot now it doesn't really. I heard there are lymph nodes there. could it just be those swollen? my mom was checked out for ovaion cancer, so I'm really scared here. Could it be a type of cancer? if it isn't what could it be, will it go away?I know there are bumps found when you get breast cancer, so I'm scared.
Please help me.

It sounds more like a small abscess (infection) than a cancerous lymph node. Although lymph nodes can present in any area of the body, they usually are in the groin (the lower region of your abdominal wall), the arm pit and the neck.

I'm responding about the lump but I'm a very strange bird about lumps. I had one on my breast 7 years ago. I took bee Propolis and a lot of vitamin E and it vanished in 2 weeks.
I've had a lump on my scalp that is slightly moveable for years; sometimes it itches. It is about the size of a kidney bean. Did you know that tumors are ENCAPSULATED? It's Mother Nature's way of keeping the bad boys inside.
Then when we biopsy the baddies escape into the bloodstream and find new homes. I have a whole website on it. I think the people who disapprove of the treatment regimen out there call it: slash, poison and burn. Meaning, biopsy, chemo and radiation. I'd rather keep my lumps right here at home, thank you very much. binkie

you should get that lump/bump checked right away, most of the time it turns out to be nothing but you could have vulvar cancer with lympnode involement and it would be best to have it check out right away.As a survivor of vulvar cancer myself the earlier the better http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gifany lumps or bumps or itching or changes in the vulvar area should be biopys right away.If you have hpv you are at a higher vulvar cancer risk and should be checked right away.Good luck let me know if you need any help http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
