melinda553 01-24-2005, 11:17 AM I just wanted to know where you all have gotten your grabbers from? I keep dropping things and hollering for help! Thanks! Melinda melinda553 01-24-2005, 11:31 AM Sorry, somehow I posted this thread twice. It must be the drugs! Melinda Kayley 01-24-2005, 11:41 AM I bought mine at Walgreens but soon after that I saw one on QVC for half the price I paid. If you go to QVC.com and type in "Easy Reacher", they have one for $15.99, plus shipping. Jessie1 01-24-2005, 11:45 AM I got mine from the PT at the hospital after my surgery- I think it was $20. kaybee 01-24-2005, 11:45 AM Dh received his as part of his PT packet following his microdiscectomy. Even tho $15 isn't much to pay, you prolly could get a prescrip from your dr and have your insurance cover it. Bet it would be at an outrageous price, too, however. Rhonni 01-24-2005, 12:05 PM I've seen them at Bed Bath & Beyond and at Linen's N Things - but the more sturdy ones (and better in my opinion) are at pharmacies (best ones where they sell other pharmaceutical appliances). The ones at BB&B and LNT are a bit cheaper (but you get what you pay for). I submitted the receipt to my insurance company and was turned down. Oh well, still money well spent. AlSmith 01-24-2005, 12:50 PM I got mine at a True Value hardware store. It cost about 20 bucks. It was money well spent although I was very glad when I did not need it anymore. Alan myspine 01-24-2005, 07:30 PM WalMart $9.99 :D shelley memawhurts 01-24-2005, 09:18 PM Yep I also got mine at WalMart for the same price. stidw 01-24-2005, 09:31 PM hey , I live in a tri-level houme so i bought three , one for each floor, they are ez assist reacher about 18.00 each , they are longer then the standard reacher so for a tall guy like me 6'2'' that are a geat help. MY dogs hate them, I got then from a medical supply store . ladybird988 01-24-2005, 09:37 PM I bought the EZ reacher deluxe from their website for 25.00. It has the wider head and can lift 5 lbs and bigger stuff than most others can. Didn't want a cheapie that didn't do the trick. I found the ones at the drug stores to have too small of heads. I bought the 32" for me and two 42" ones for my dad to keep at either end of his house. Use mine all the time and I'm 6 mons post op. |
