Hi Everyone,

I would like information from anyone who has ever taken the chemo drug topotecan.I need to know everything about how it affected you. Please tell me if you experienced fatigue, shortness of breath (how severe) if you had to have transfusions,how did you function day to day? Were you able to do housework and other things such as grocery shopping, errands,etc.? Please tell me any and all problems this drug may have given you. Also did you have to take neupogen shots, how was nausea handleed and also was there hair loss. Thank you for any help Rose

Hi, I just read your questions about topetecan..I have not taken it myself but my daddy was on it a few years ago for a rare blood disorder. It did make him very tired and nauseous. He usually slept alot after taking it. Yes, he did have hair loss but as soon as he was finished with treatments, it grew back in. Best of luck to you!! Hope I answered some of your questions.
